Are there exercises or machines that can take the place of squats, dead lifts and lunges? Really want to start lifting but with some orthopedic limitations.
that's a really specific question- nothing really truly replaces those things- if you have medical limitations seaking out a qualified physical therapy sports medicine type person would be your best bet- the answers you will get here will a bit limited.0 -

I started with Chalean Extreme (loved it) then moved on to free weights at the gym. I do a three-day split, because I like to keep a couple days of cardio, as well. :-)
Lifting 1: (Butt, Hammies, Back, and Biceps - this day kills me so I like to get it over with early in the week!)
