I haven't weighed in for over two weeks and I'm scared too. I've been logging and exercising, but I'm scared to death I will have gained weight.

If you have been eating right and exercising then I am sure you will have a loss...
Dont let the scale rule your life!!! It is a tool only...
Plus remember that Muscle weighs one and a half times what fat does!!0 -
Don't be afraid, dear. If you've been eating and exercising properly, you should not have gained weight....unless it's muscle. But, if you have, it's good to know now, so you know what you're dealing with and that you need to make changes somewhere in your routine. Go for it!0

I weigh-in on Mondays (GULP) & see what damage I have done. I take the numbers (good or bad) as a guide to do more of what I didn't do.0

aside from weighing, you should also take your measurements. weight fluctuates from day to day due to muscle and.. err.. bathroom issues, so if you see minimal loss on the scale, it doesn't always ring true. hop on and good luck! i always try and trick the scale by weighing in the morning, after i've gone to the bathroom, right before i hop in the shower so no clothes to weigh me down. hahah!! TMI, sorry0

Meee tooo!!! I weigh in tomoro morning. Last week i had put on weight  ....but i've also been doing the hundred push up challenge, and to look at myself, i definitely feel more toned and feel strong...so if i DO put on weight in the morning (fingers crossed i dont tho) EFF the scale:laugh:
LIke people have said, measurements will be a more accurate way, but if you FEEL better than this is what it's all about!
Good luck though:flowerforyou:0 -
Remember one thing about all else. THAT YOU SHOULDN'T FEAR THAT PIECE OF METAL! DON'T GIVE THE SCALE THE POWER!!! Don't allow the numbers on the piece of metal to tell you your worth, if you're a success or failure. If you've been trying to eat healthier and you've been exercising - then you're already ahead of the game.
Yes, we all want to lose the weigh. We all want to look better - but feeling better, eating better, getting up off the couch should count for something.
Another poster mentioned measuring yourself. Sometimes when the piece of metal isn't showing the numbers that you want and you think you've failed, if you have been taking meaurements, you might see where you've lost inches instead. Both measurements and the weigh together give you the overall picture.
So let's all try and not worship that metal - let's not worry about what those numbers show. Know in your heart and mind that you are trying your best to be healthier in your eating and exercising and the hell with what the scale shows. This is a lifelong journey - one that we'll be tweaking and living the rest of our lives. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!!!!
Stay strong!

I know the feeling. But, I'm going by measurements. Because in my history I don't lose the weight per say as quickly as I would like, but my measurements go down. Of course after a while the weight will come off. You should try that and see if you find the results that would motivate you

I ammmmmmm sooooooooo afraid to weigh in! I have been working out, tracking EVERYTHING , good bad or ugly, working out, praying to the Lord for strength when I need it which is all the time, yet when it's time for me to W/I I flash back to that day a few weeks ago when I weighed in and gained all my weight i had recently lost back....
So, allow me to share with you what I am feeling about the whole thing:
if i allow my feelings to stay in the past, I can never move forward!!!
Today is Monday, I havent weighed in for about 2 weeks because i dont want to see it, I will kill my fear today, please join me!
