Hi-new here! The prospect of losing weight seems tough. Any ideas for a basic 1600 calorie diet to follow?

I prefer to eat lots of mini meals. You're less likely to feel "hungry" if you snack all day on healthy foods. Fruits, veggies, pretzels, etc. I think it allows me to have a bigger dinner with my family instead of eating like a bird, and not enjoying my dinner time with them.0

Welcome. I have been on MFP for almost 4 months. It's the best decision I have made in many years. I have lost weight with diets many times before, but it was never a lifestyle change. This time is different; it's a lifestyle change, not a diet. Good luck on your weight loss journey. Please feel free to add me as a friend; we can help motivate each other.0
