Oh yeah, I meant to suggest, trying to do solid 15 min walking with that mass on the knees and ankles could be asking for injury.
Injury at this point removing the means of doing any walking would really suck big time, I wouldn't risk it at all.
Might be better to do 5 min only several times through the day, like every 2-4 hrs (if time allows) get up and walk for 5 min.
Total time would be more, total rest for joints would be more.0
