Out of Ideas

So my boyfriend and I are trying to lose weight together but he's the type that can stay on an elliptical for hours whereas I get totally bored because it's not engaging enough for me. I usually work out by playing Just Dance on the Wii for a few hours. I've tried gym buddies, music and what seems like everything else. Do y'all have any suggestions on how to make the gym more enjoyable for someone like me?

    Find an exercise you enjoy doing. It doesn't have to be in a gym. Run, ride bikes, go for walks (faster than a leisurely stroll), do classes such as zumba or body pump, hike. The list goes on. My personal favorites are spin class, zumba, and running intervals (preferably outside). I lift because I like the results. I LOVE golf and play as much as I can and try and walk as much as I can.
