I'm just here for the smug

Today is primary day and I decided that rather than drive to the polls, I would walk. About 36 minutes round trip. I get the double smug of surprise excerise and voting.

But the universe decided I was not smug enough. While I was heading home: I found a 20 dollar bill. Which I never would have if I hadn't walked.

So what nifty thing has happened to you while you were being good that made you that extra level of smug?
