plexus question

I have a friend that sells this, so I'm not looking for an 'ambassador'
I am not trying to find a quick fix to lose weight, but I would like to ask someone not trying to sale it to me about their experience.
I'm told that it helps give you energy and helps with overall aches and pains, even major issues with PCOS, rheumatoid arthritis, and even fibromyalgia.
I haven't been diagnosed with any of these, but I have issues just getting motivated to get up and around sometimes, like I have flowers to plant in my garden for over a month, but the idea of getting out there to ready the garden just sucks lol. Then I end up spending a whole day eating nothing but sugar cookies, but still within my calories, cause why not. I have workout videos, yoga mat, balance ball, hand weights, but I just can't get motivated due to the pain I will have later and maybe just laziness, it sucks. Last time I did more than take a dog for a walk, I spent nearly a whole week holding the counter to sit on the toilet.
So yea, I want to lose my weight eating healthy foods, but I want to know if this plexus stuff will help with the other stuff that keeps me thinking 'oh well, I'll never do it anyway'.
And of course, other advice to get started on moving is welcome too, I know I need to do it for health

It's a diet program. If followed, it works like any OTHER diet program. Like other diet programs it DOESN'T work without calorie deficit. And calorie deficit (eating less) is something you don't have to pay for.
Your money. You decide.

Again, I'm NOT looking at the weight loss promises of the product. It's the whole 'put your body in balance' and helping with other issues through its vitamins and minerals. The I couldn't get off the couch without pain shooting up both my legs to I'm a runner 2 weeks later testimonials. That is the aspect that is enticing me, I'm good with deficit, usually, until I get exasperated cause I can't seem to be physical :grumble:
So, am I to take the one response I got as didn't read the whole post or there is absolutely nothing to these additional claims?
thanks :drinker:0 -
Save your money.
Don't over think it, just do it, just get up and move. The more you do it, the easier it will become.0 -
It's just another scam diet pill. Nothing will "put your body in balance." What does that even mean?0

I had a friend who sold this crap (had), and there was definitely no lack of "puffing" the product. The testimonials said it cured every human condition short of cancer, yet none of it was medically observeable/traceable to Plexus itself. I was defriended on FB for asking one too many questions (says a lot). Lots of people simply refuse to believe the benefits of being at a healthy weight and body composition without the use of some kind of snake oil.0

Ok, thanks guys and gals, I will stick with the walking of dogs for now then. It just doesn't feel like enough sometimes, but it is something at least. At some point, I'll be able to move into what I consider 'real' exercise. I've seen people heavier then me doing good workouts, maybe if I just force myself... but then I hurt... ugh, walking, I can walk!
I haven't asked her too many questions, cause I didn't want her thinking I was a possible customer, when I most likely was not ya know.
Overthinking ~ that sounds like something I do. Thanks again ya'll, gonna just keep at it!0 -

I too have a friend who has been screaming the benefits of her using the "pink drink" she calls it. I also have others trying to pimp me their shakeology stuff too!! The point is if you change your eating habits and exercise, you'll lose the weight.
I read about your complaints of pain when you even walk the dog. I remember the first week working with a trainer, i couldn't even walk up a step and to pee on the toilet I had to literally fall onto it, and grab the sink to get myself back up!! It's called being out of shape and lacking of muscles. If you get past the approximate 2 weeks it was for me, it does get better!!! If you haven't a clue about what exercises to do, get a trainer, it's the best money I've spent thus far!!!!0 -
I don't think it is meant to "cure" anything, just make your body healthy so it can "cure" itself...which, your immune system does have the capability of doing, when functioning as intended.0
