Hey guys so I was at safeway today and I found something that looks like a great food to get in great shape while still tasting great: Lean Turkey and beef burgers....check these stats out:
23g protein
9g fat
5g carbs
370mg potassium
470mg sodium
all in 180 calories per patty...and they taste great too!
so I know the fat and sodium isnt great but it seems like all the other figures look great for a great tasting meal. Anyone have thoughts on this? It seems like a superfood to me or am I missing something negative with these lean beef/turkey frozen foods?

Are they wearing a cape? Underwear on the outside? They just sound like nice, lean burgers to me...0

^^ this! 9g of fat is low for a burger, and fat is not the enemy! A burger patty without a bit of fat just doesn't taste right, either.0 -
These are fine choices and they fit into your plan. I am curious though about the 5 grams of carbs. I thought that plain meat had zero carbs.0

They probably have a binder in them, a flour or breadcrumb addition to keep them in their patty shape. Some seasonings also have a flour base.0 -
meh 5g carbs is not a big deal but yeah not sure why it has 5g of carbs its not breaded patties or anything0

turkey and beef ? Sounds like sweepings and mechanically recovered meat. I'll stick to making burgers from 20% fat beef mince.0
