I baked pumpkin seeds the other night, but there's such a variation of how many calories are in a serving of pumpkin seeds in the database! Anyone have a suggestion as to what's accurate and what's not? I could just be desperate because dammit, these seeds are AAAAAMAZING!

I think it depends on what oil you cook them in (if any) and if you add salt. I just picked one at random and enjoyed.

what is your receipe for baked pumpkin seeds? I would like to try them. One way to find out is to enter the receipe in the receipe tool and it will tell you how many calories per serving.

as a guideline...also depends on whether you use butter, oil, salt, etc. when preparing them...

My Girl Scouts did a pumpkin carving event and the Leaders baked the seeds.

I wasn't given seed duty so I don't know how they were baked. I did learn the other Leader did add garlic, salt & pepper.

Yummy..... of course, the Girl Scouts didn't want them.......

I rinsed my seeds to get most of the goop off. spread them over a couple of baking sheets and just drizzled with Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Maybe 4 or 5 tbsp? Maybe? I dunno. Just kinda drizzled a'la Rachel Ray. Then I sprinkled Salt and Pepper and Mrs. Dash Italian on them. Baked for 10 min at 350, then tossed, baked for another 10. Voila!
