Halp! Deadlifts...I don't think I am doing them right

Hi Fitness Buffs,
Can anyone give me tips on how to do a deadlift correctly? When I do them I feel NOTHING in my gluts and in-fact I feel nothing anywhere...in other words it feels far to easy to be correct. Please help so I can work those gluts!!!

look up the youtube video "so you think you can deadlift" it's a great series.
As well if you aren't feeling it perhaps the weight isn't heavy...what are you lifting atm? how many reps?0 -
Remember the dead lift is a compound movement. It takes a lot of weight to make it effective if your form is good. If you are using hand weights you aren't doing anything.0
