Sedentary or lightly active?

I need advice about what to list as my activity level. I've chosen sedentary because I'm a SAHM and some days I feel like I'm on my butt a lot but I do walk to pick up my son from school (10 minute walk each way) and I often walk to meet friends (and I cook and clean so I'm moving around then too). I don't want to list these walks as exercise and would prefer to only enter actual calories burned from working out. Anyway, I don't want to eat too few calories and understandably, I don't want to eat too many either. What would you do?

(Background: I used to work at a coffee shop for 12 hours a week and listed myself as lightly active and was losing weight using mfp...again, not logging walking to and from work, only actual exercise.

probably lightly active is better. but remember TDEE is an estimate, it wont be exact no matter what setting you use. you need to intake the estimated amount for awhile, review results and adjust from there

Thank you...I had forgotten all about BMR and TDEE. I will change my settings. :)
