Low calories hangover prevention foods! Help!

I am not a big drinker at all and haven't even has any alcohol in over 2 months. Saturday I will be going on a wine trip or a bachelorette party. I know to drink plenty of water throughout the day but what can I eat throughout the day that will keep me from getting sick without blasting through all my calories into the next days lol. I don't plan on drinking a lot really just two tasking at each of the five wineries. We r stopping for dinner after and having hoagies on the bus so I need some snack options throughout the day and a breakfast suggestion!

I've heard coconut water is excellent for the morning after. Might work for the night before too? also, almonds.

What he said! When you're drinking, you shouldn't really be eating low calorie anyway. It won't help the cause. Just enjoy yourself and get right back on track the next day. Have fun!!

Agreed. Eat sensibly, but in the long run you're much better off with a decent amount of food in your stomach, especially if your drinking is going to be stop and go over a whole day. If it's a once in awhile thing (and not, like, 2-3 times per week, in which case you might have bigger issues  ) I'd rather go over my calories and feel better the next day. Also, take a B-complex vitamin right before you get started (buy a bottle and pass them out to the group, lol), and make sure to stay on top of water, like you said.

No one food will stop you from getting sick. The only thing that will prevent that is not drinking yourself to your sick point. If you eat too much, you'll probably feel some stomach uneasiness. If you drink too much-same thing. Wine has a lot of sugar which has a different impact on me than other types of alcohol. Set a limit for each stop if you are concerned about getting physically ill from drinking too much, and take a break if you start to feel too tipsy/ill.
