Well I just got back from having more pictures taken and my right breast be squashed in every which way to try and get the mass that they saw out...Unfortunately they could not get rid of the mass and I was told that I have a lump in my right breast. I am waiting for a call for my next test and we will move on from there....so in so many words..:frown: .

THIS SUCKS!

    Whoa, i'm sorry!

Did you feel a lump and then go have the test or do you have regular tests anyway and they told you about the lump?

I have just been reading up a bit about it, i never knew how many different things a lump in the breast could be!

What is the next test/what happens now?

Take care, i sincerely hope it turns out to be one of the 'not-so-bad' things!

No I just went in on Tues for a regular mammogram...they called me back to come back in to do more pics....then the radiologist looked at the new ones and sat me down to discuss things and we are working on a ultrasound next....and I have 3 Dr's trying to get me in ASAP...it is just scarry...you know...no matter what....until you know it is all good it just sucks until then.

I'm praying for you Zen! So scary...I've been called back for a second mammogram in the past...just getting called back makes you tense...the lady that took the photos told me that if there was any issue that the Dr. would be in to speak to me and if not she would come release me...when the Dr. walked into the room I got so scared...he shook my hand and as a greeting I said, "how are doing today sir"...he said, "I'm fine and so are you"...I was able to breath again...I detest mammograms, they are so painful...I wish they would become obsolete and that we could just get an annual ultrasound...take care and keep us posted...we are all in your corner.

    Yeah i hear ya!
I am going for an ultrasound first, next wednesday. Then they said they might stick a needle in and drain some fluid out to test! Not looking forward to it, but just want it to be over!

From what i read, if it is something serious that is the best way to catch it, that it has showed up on your regular screening rather than you noticing a lump.

I don't think they do regular mammograms here in the UK unless you have a family history.

    You are in my thoughts.

Most likely it's a fibroid. Please do not worry about this, do everything you can to keep your mind off of it until you have ultrasound results

Sorry Zen, I hope it ends up being like mine was ......they removed it and it was just some fatty tissue which he said happens when weight is loss. My prayers are with you I know how scary it is. Let us know what the doctors say. We all love you, hugs!!
