I was just in another forum post and I do a lot of cycling. Usually between 11 and 25 miles per 6 days a week. MFP and www.bicycling.com are giving me figures well over 1500 calories burned for 75 minutes cycling, at 255 pounds, at 16 - 20 mph. People answering my question about how many calories I should be eating per day are saying that there is NO WAY that I am burning that many calories cycling.

Question 1:
Could someone please tell me how many calories I should assume burned for 75 minutes, at 18+ mph, at 255 pounds.?? I really need to know if MFP is overestimating the calories burned. Some readers are suggesting that I am only burning 500 - 700 calories.

Question 2:
Now that I am thoroughly confused. My "HOME" page says 2365 calories remaining, 1920 goal, 1449 food - 1894 exercise = -445 net. If someone could please explain that. Am I supposed to be eating more?

I have lost 24 pounds since May 1 of this year. Eat more than I can usually fit in my belly. I am doing LCHF lifestyle. Never hungry. Drink tons of water. Scale says I have added 3 pounds lean weight (I was assuming that that meant muscle?)

SO, how much should I have eaten today? I am so confused now.

If you go back to the original thread, Heybales answered your question. He has a really good grasp on how all of this works. I
