I want to buy a good heart rate monitor which should also show my calorie burn during exercise .. Any suggestion would be appreciated.. I live in Sweden and went to medical store the other day. I saw a HRM from G Plus on promotional price but it had no calorie counting so i skipped. But now I am willing to spend money on it now to estimate my calorie burn in an exact way... Can I wear it whole day to estimate my total calorie burn for the day...?

I did some research and finally ordered a polar ft7. I did this instead of the ft4 because I had problems with that one a few years ago but the one I ordered (from heartratemonitorsusa.com) was priced ok, if a little high and had free shipping. I also went to retailme.com and go t 5% off. I'll see if I like it. This time, if I can't get it to work, I will send it back. ;-)0

I've had a Polar FT4F for several weeks now and use it for cardio (Combat, Spin, Running), and find it works well. You customize it with your weight and it automatically works out the cals. The calorie count appears consistent. It's generally around 20% less than the estimates on MFP. I did look at the FT7 but decided it was overkill for what I wanted. No problems here with mine.0
