I've read several posts about increasing your calories by changing your account to loose 0.5lb a week instead of a 1 lb a week when you get close to your goal weight.
Did you do this? Did you still loose the weight and reach your goal?

Yes, and yes.
I'm currently at my goal weight, but continuing to drop fat by eating my maintenance calories and only eating half of my exercise calories.0 -
I have been up, down all over the scale during my life b4 I was able to maintain 108 lbs for nearly 10 years. My personal experience is this: I didn't necessarily have to adjust my calories either up or down, but the weight did come off more slowly as I reached my ideal weight. There's only so much "cutting calories" I'm willing to do! That's when exercise can help. I know others have success by really cleaning up their diets and watching the fat/carb/protein that they are eating, which one thing about MFP that is so good. It helps you do that. Hope that helps!:flowerforyou:0
