egg calories

there's a common calorie value for an egg - around 150 calories per 100 g.
but when i separated whites & yolks and summed their calories i've got
120-130 calories (depending on yolk calorie value)
plus the bigger an egg the less caloric it is because
a yolk has the same size for big & small eggs, only whites change significantly.
so you see, if one consumes a big amount of eggs,
there's a big calorie difference in the end of a day
if you take 120-130 or 150-155 calorie value
what do you think?

I think that I have other things to think about
but I do LOVE eggs.0 -
I log a large egg as 70 calories and move on with my life.0

The count I use is per egg (Canada Grade A large) not weight and it's 70 cal for the whole egg. I usually make a 1 egg + 1 egg white omelette but I use the liquid egg whites because I can't separate an egg if my life depended on it. The ones I use are 30 cal per 1/4 cup.0

I do the same thing but for a different reason. I am very good at separating eggs but the idea of throwing a yummy, nutritious, delicious egg yolk down the drain seems like such a waste and bothers me.0 -
^^ well there's that too but I didn't want to perpetuate the Scots are cheap myth.0
