Accountability, Accountability, Accountability

Three years ago I lost almost 40 pounds in as little as six months, I gained it all back plus some. I'm now back on the wagon and am starting to discouraged the weight isn't coming off as fast as last time. I've thought about what I was doing differently that could be hindering me; well I have an answer, ACCOUNTABILITY!! Last time I had somebody to talk to about what I did throughout the day. To ask me what I ate, and in a sense give me a slap on the wrist when I went over board and binged on Cheetos and Reese's cups.

So, long story short, I'm looking for someone to talk to everyday, lend me advice and make me stay accountable and I would do the same for them.

MFP is an accountability tool, but it's just a computer it's not the same as having a person to talk to.

Yup. This. That person is in the mirror.

You are welcome to try and accomplish in the manner that works best for you, but what happens when that accountability partner goes away/dies/deactivates? It'll give you an excuse to revert behaviors, if you want it.

You are more than welcome to friend me & I'll be happy to be your partner, but know that I will be very direct.

    Thanks

If your accountability partner is on MFP, then it's still just a computer.

Better results if the person is in real life, eyeball to eyeball, like others have said.

It's like not going to confession at all.....people used to go to confession, but were afraid to actually sit face-to-face with the priest. Then a screen was devised to make it "easier" to confess your sins. Having your accountability partner be online is circumventing even that.
