Successfully finding a balance

I am just learning that I can have a treat once in a while as long as I have it in moderation. For example I used to cut out all treats and then when someone at work would bring donuts I'd have like 3.
It's really important to find a balance. It is something I am still working on but I think I can do it :D

    You know ... that is SOOO important! Finding a balance. I mean my favorite saying " FREE YOUR MIND, THE REST WILL FOLLOW".
    Once you get in the right mode, the right attitude, the right place in your head... This seems soooo much easier!

    You're right, many people find it difficult to get that balance just right, sounds like you hit the nail on the head.

    I like indulging in my favorites too but some things I make with a healthy twist. I used to drink mocha iced coffees from Dunkin Donuts which have 260 calories for a medium, so I make coffee at home now with honey, unsweetened cocoa powder and a splash of milk - still a treat but only 98 calories! That's one way I stay balanced!

    Yes! You will be successful because you understand this.

    Plan your indulgences, adjust the rest of your day accordingly, log them and move forward!

    Diets don't work long term- finding a balance does.
