Don't be afraid to try new things!

Today I took my first spin class and boy am I glad I did. I will be 50 in July and and am on my road to losing weight. I am a chubby girl in all sense of the word but I got the courage to take the spin class I was always afraid to take. Now did I stand up and pedal when the teacher asked us to all the time........no but I pedaled so hard my bike had sweat all over it, the floor had sweat on it.......boy I felt great. ! I kept telling myself I was doing the modified version ( I am truly a newbie) but when he would tell us to sprint I put all my effort into it. My point is don't be afraid to try new things. I was surprised at how I could keep up, that I burned a ton of calories per MFP, that I didn't fall off the bike! Weight loss is a journey try new things, celebrate little accomplishments,never say never.
