    See, enter a dude!
  • Go for it, and while you're at it, do it for a good cause and raise awareness and some money for male depression and prostate cancer research. I don't know how wellknown the 'Movember' movement is in the US, but have a look at the link. It's basically the male equivalent of Breast cancer awareness month..

    Good luck!

At least you get one to join you:bigsmile:

Sadly, I'm with the other ladies; I'll pass. My jeans catch the leg stubble and pull the hair and it's just not worth it. Sorry

  • LOL... you didn't specify a gender in your original post... and you didn't specify a body part or area either! (Imagine the possibilities there! LOL!)

Hmm. I'd go for this, but I have a compulsion to trim my beard all of the time for some weird reason. I keep thinking, "Oh, I'm going to grow my beard out" and then a day or two later I'm trimming it down really short again ...

I'll give it a shot, see how I do with it.

Also, from a male perspective, I commend the ladies who are opting out of this contest ;)

    ATTENTION Ladies...

I'm not one to go out with hairs... but I have noticed that when I get a hair cut I usually drop a couple of pounds. I'm not sure what that means, I can only think my body wants to grow more hair and so when I get it cut it takes energy to grow more. Either way I'll take it.

So, maybe you can wait to get a hair cut until the end of the month??

    Just a suggestion/idea...

    :drinker:

And you do mean facial hair only right? cuz I have to keep up the manscaping. The user of the recreation area gets bothered if I don't.
  • My husband and all his male co-workers are doing the Movember thing. I totally forgot about it until he walked out of the bathroom Monday morning clean-shaven... and he looks 17-freaking-years-old!!! He's always had a goatee.

I MISS HIS FACIAL HAIR. He teases me now that I've robbed the cradle... haha!

no doubt...i want a man, not a twelve-teen year old...I'm a full supported of Movember, even though I can't grow a beard. I think the marketing team for breast cancer should support research for all types of cancer, that way when i see a sea of pink on everything from smarties to mouth guards, i know that i am supporting all cancers, not just the one that makes the most money...good on ya guys for stepping up and showing that men get sick too! there is tons of research to be done in the field...it needs to be expressed!
