Some people on this site are bulking and donuts are a high source of fat, carbs and calories, which can help gain weight, and if in a deficit, just make sure it fits within your caloric and macro goals and you will have no problem.

Actually thanks for this! I am going to stop for a free donut after my bike ride today. Nothing wrong with a donut once in a while!0

Exactly! For breakfast this morning, I had a glazed yeast donut and a chocolate French cruller. They were delicious! The donuts and my coffee (with real cream) came in at 535 calories. My TDEE is around 2,200, so that's roughly a quarter of my calories for the day. I'll catch up on my vegetables, fruit and protein with my other meals/snacks today. A diet should be flexible enough to eat things you enjoy.
And for the record, I eat donuts pretty regularly. I did while I was losing weight, and continue to do so while on maintenance.

I'd rather have a cherry/berry pie to fit into my meal plan! I'm sure I'll get to the office and find at least two dozen of these bad boys waiting for me pass by. My boss and co-workers don't need a reason to show up with donuts on any given day. :-/0

No donuts for me. I recently ran a 5k race in which you stopped in the middle to eat a dozen glazed donuts. I don't know if i will ever want another....0
