Anybody know of a quick way to wake up that doesn't require the coke (that i havn't had in months, reg at least) or telling me to get up and work out. I try that but i usually end up hitting the snooze button.

Don't know why but today i'm so sleepy i can't hardly keep my eyes open.

YAWN!

Need to get plenty of sleep. It also depends on how much you're working out. For me, I work out 5 times a week in a gym for weights, get up at 430am. When I feel too sleepy - even after working out, it's a sign that I am not having enough carbs in my diet... I haven't looked at your diary, but sometimes diet effects how sleepy we feel.

Edit: Just checked your food diary... Uh, kick the sugar my dear! And also you may want to up your proteins... If you're lifting weights, you should have 1-1.5 grams of protein for each pound you weigh...

Turn on all the lights and open up the curtains/shades/etc. to let more light it which will naturally wake you up. Also, as FemininGuns stated plenty of sleep helps you to wake up.

I'm definitely not a morning person, especially for workouts. You don't have to do a real workout or even put on exercise gear other than walking shoes - a simple 10 minutes walk will get you going & according to Prevention magazine that I just read this week, research shows it helps with the "I'm tired" thing. Make sure you are getting enough sleep and your sleep pattern stays the same (try to go to bed & wake up about the same time every night) to make sure your body gets all that REM sleep it needs. Cut your caffeine earlier in the day if you have a hard time falling asleep.
