I have a question and was wondering if anyone could help me...I have added 1.5 lb weights to my ankles to help build up some strength in my legs, BUT I am not sure how to record that in my diary..any suggestions. I am hoping to get bigger ones eventually and use them daily on my ankles and wrists but I want to now it is a benefit.

Add them how? As part of your cardio?

generally ankle weights aren't a great practice. It can throw off your form and really doesn't do much for you cardio wise as the knee lever takes all the pressure. Long term this can cause orthopedic issues (knee, spine, ankle, lower back issues are all possibilities with long term added weight to the legs or lower body).

Better use a course with changes in elevation (hills), or go at a faster pace.

they can cause problems, and there are better ways to build strength, but if you have to use them. you add the weight as part of body weight, as that what determins how much calories you burn.
