this may be a tiny victory but i feel it!

it may just be day one of my second attempt at couch to 5k but this time i finished the ENTIRE time! AND i feel great after instead of sweaty, fat and gross like i did last time i tried this. its probably that my head is in the right place this time (i'm sure it helps that its no longer 105 degrees out as well) and this time i'm READY for it. also i think this time i'm in the shape for it. no, i'm not fit yet, and yeah i was EXHAUSTED after i was done, but i'm in way better shape than the first time i tried this (it was before i joined MFP). this time i KNOW i can do it and i WILL do it. and it may be a small ONE day victory but it feels HUGE to me. yay me! :smooched:

Congratulations! I love how accomplishing something makes me feel great, even if it is only 1 workout. I am doing the C25K program too and love it. I am doing week 4 for the second week in a row. I completed all 3 days last week but it about killed me and I didn't feel "strong" after I finished. I felt more like I'd been beat up. So I am going to repeat week 4 until I complete it with confidence. So don't get discouraged as it gets harder. The way I look at it is I should be exercising for the rest of my life so who cares if it takes me 6 months to get thru week 9.

I died when I tried it. I was recovering from a cold and still had a nasty cough...and at a high altitude...it didn't help any. I'm looking forward to trying again, hopefully without the dying at the end lol.
