Keeping on track

Hi everyone, I am new to this, never posted before anywhere, but want to be part of the getting healthy lifestyle group.
I have always had a weight problem all my life. 2 weeks ago, I had the barriatric bypass surgery and before the surgery I had to only have liquids and optifast. (It was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do). Post op I am on liquids but able to start having a small amount of more texture foods. Which I had today...salmon and carrots.
Within 4 weeks I have lost 22 pounds, and actually feel extremely wonderful. I am doing what I am suppose to do with the vitamins and protein shakes until I can be on all regular foods.
During this journey I am going to make sure my goal is to keep on the myfitness pal. jounaling, and reading recipies and hopefully get to meet exciting people, with a positive goal of being healthy.
Keep smiling and look forward to some friendly chats..
