Legs always feeling that 'burn' ?

Lately I've been noticing that I'm almost always feeling that burning sensation in my legs even during the slightest effort. Walking up stairs in my house, crouching down to get something and even getting up after I've been sitting on the floor. To put this in perspective, I'd put the intensity of my burn at 9/10 on the discomfort scale after about 50 squats. This every day activity burn, I'd put at 4/10.
I asked a few people if they feel any type of burn after an average amount of stairs and the answer has been no. I'm just not sure if this is normal or not but it feels that it isn't. I am not a complainer or anything but there are times, especially if I'm getting my workout at the end of the day, when my legs are so sore that it almost puts me off going for a run or to the gym.
So I guess my question is if this is normal.

I am having this problem too... chalking it up to 40, haven't done much since I was in my 20's and showing horses, and I am totally out of shape right now. I jumped from zero to crazy and it HURTS!! Shin splints and pulled muscles are forcing moderation. Been about ten days now. I am just letting my legs rest per my doctor's advice and will start back with moderation next week. My doctor advised also warm cloths on my legs and lots of stretching before exercise, ice after, and ibuprofen for the muscle pain (swelling). See your doc if it keeps up, but don't give up!! Good luck!0

You might try putting your legs up against the wall after exercising, or every day right before going to bed. That helps get that lactic acid generated by exercise out of your muscles. I also found this article that might help.

Not enough info here.
Do you run or work your legs everyday? Are you new(er) to working out? Maybe you need a rest day, to stretch, to hydrate better...0
