Calorie Question

Hello!
This might be a silly question, or too picky, but anyway-
so you burn some amount of calories all day, just sitting doing nothing, right ?
So when i go to the gym and run and my HRM says I burn, say, 200 calories, when I track it, isn't tracking 200 technically too high ... ?
should i subtract out the basic calories that I burn just sitting around ?
Thanks for any input!

Some people do that (subtract out calories you would have burned doing the Sitting On *kitten* activity), others eat back just a portion of the 200 calories like 50-75% of it. Rinse, repeat. If you're not getting desired results, adjust :P0

Yes, subtract the calories you would have burned just living from it.0

Cool. Yea, I usually only eat a % of my cals back, but since I got the HRM I've been trying to be more accurate with the tracking.
thank you guys!0
