Disappointed

I started on here about three weeks ago. I weighed in last week and had lost three pounds. Then this week, and I've lost two. And I know this is good and more than my profile is set up for me to lose per week, and also that I injured myself on Monday which has impacted my whole week, went out for dinner on Tuesday etc, but I still feel weird and crotchety about it, feel like I should have lost more. Hmm. Disordered thinking?

If you lose more than two pounds a week, although great, you are setting yourself up for a fall later on.
Sustained, small losses stay off. Whereas big losses can go back on and more! Just look at the the idiots who are having meal replacement shakes? Massive initial success followed by tiny losses, disillusionment and finally weight gain.
You are doing the right thing.

Yeah, you're right. I'd lose fast and then put it straight back on. It's happened before (through illness, not effort!). Absolutely agree about meal replacement shakes.
