I shouldn't think there are any carbs.
Calorie wise is probably similar to a large Guinea pig.
Hop that helps.0 -

Say that again, I dare you!0

From what I've heard they're basically all protein... I don't think there would be any carbs0

Why would you shoot a rabbit if you weren't planning on eating it? It's not like people brag about their sweet rabbit head trophy on the wall.0

There is no meat on the face of this earth that actually have carbs. It is all protein and fat.. If you have carbs in a meat it's because it was added either through processing or sauces.
1oz = 9 grams of protein,1 gram of fat. Content will vary from rabbit to rabbit based on age and a million other factors but on average there you go.0 -
Trivia Fact: If you ate nothing BUT Rabbit, you would die of starvation. There are no real nutrients in Rabbit. After a few days of eating Rabbit, you would start to feel weak. After a few weeks, you would not be able function properly, chances are your eyesight would go. After that, you will be severely malnourished and quite probably die.
But I'm sure you'll be fine0 -

I learnt this on QI

I remember that episode - didn't Stephen Fry keep getting annoyed because they kept asking what about if they had them with veg and other food?0 -

lol, I'd forgotten but I think so! I think he moved the episode on quickly cuz of that
ETA: I've also just remembered- this episode made me seriously consider eating rabbit because I'm constantly insanely under my protein goals... before that I'd always thought I never could. Used to have one as a pet when I was younger!0 -

I learnt it on a Combat Survival Course years ago. During the 2nd week, we were only given rabbit to eat for 4 days. Never felt so tired lol. Then they told us that if you kept eating like that, you'd be dead in a few weeks!
Thankfully they added raw potatoes and veg after that. Still felt bloody awful. I do remember at the end of the course a week later, we were taken to a canteen and given Burgers, Pizza, etc etc. Alot of guys couldn't cope, kept throwing up. Stomachs had shrunk so much :P0 -
Poor bunny. He never stood a chance.0

Actually, there are a few iterations of rabbit in the food database. BTW, if you haven't tossed the organs, rabbit livers are highly prized for their flavor, but you need to make sure to remove any gall without getting it on the liver.0

I have eaten fried rabbit and squirrel both when I was a kid. It actually doesn't taste bad at all.
Tastes just like chicken!0
