Hello,
Since I started on fluoxetine I have lost 5 pounds in 3 days, I haven't been as hungry and I have felt full and rather sick if I eat.
Is this a side affect or is this normal?
Thank you.

When you start SSRI's, it's not uncommon to have stomach upset, partially due to serotonin receptors in the stomach. Some may lose their appetites, others experience severe nausea. You should start feeling fine within a couple of weeks at the worst; if not, your doctor will need to evaluate if it's the right med for you.0

Yes, loss of appetite can be a side affect.
I know from past experience.
I would still let your doctor know so he/she can monitor these side effects if it continues.
Also, you can google and some info on side effects will pop up.0
