Best sport/exercise for insulin resistance patients?

Hello, I have insulin resistance for a year, two years triod diseas. I went to gym for two months gain 300 gram fat and 300 gram musckle I felt really bad left gym then went to zumba, I really love it and people started to say you're looking better but my weight didn't change so i left it too and just did walking for 4 months 4 times in week, one hour and i didn't get weight but didnt lose too...

So now I wanted to start a new exercise which is works very well for me. I'm ready for hard work but I'm not sure which sport is best? I heard kick box is really works I can swim in this summer too, i have a diet which is focusing protein less carb no sugar.
I hope you guys will help me about it because i will work one more year to lose weight if it is not work out i'll think about operation. this gaining weight is just not stop..
