Is there anyone doing this workout and if so how do you count it as exercise, aerobics, walking etc. Any help would be appreciated, I bought it to do when I can't walk outside.

  • I count it as aerobics, low impact.

I log it as walking and depending on the walk that I do distance and time is how I determine what mph to choose so if you do like a 2 mile walk in 30 min it would be walking 4 mph. Under exercise just search walking and it will give you the different mph choices and from there you would put in your time so it can figure the calories!

I just count it as walking 4.0 miles per hour. When I plugged it in on mine as low impact aerobics the calories came out exactly the same.

Try this website to calculate excercise. I calculate mine just as sandara does, Leslie's videos are all 4 mph or more if u keep up with her pace.
  • I love Leslie's workouts! I have 2 of her DVD's that I use as part of my current cardio routine. Glad you're giving her a try! :)

Thanks again everyone for your help. You all are super.
  • I'm late in responding, but wanted to say that I love Leslie! I have about 10 of her dvd's. I haven't used them a lot lately because I joined a gym, but it's a great workout if you don't want to go outside. I wear a HRM when I exercise, but I would suggest counting it as low impact aerobics.

yep, did it this morning. aerobics/cardio. yes, low impact, but i do my workout with hand weights and i make some of her moves a little more challenging.

if you're unsure of the calorie burn, look into getting a HRM eventually.

i love her workouts. very easy to follow.
