Do you ever have those days were you fell like you are the ugliest person in the world? I feel that way constantly. I have never been able to see myself as a pretty girl. I'm hoping that losing weight will change my way of thinking but I don't know. Any advice?

Losing weight, getting a haircut, changing your appearance in any way, ect will not change your way of thinking. It has to come from within, and you need to learn to love and accept yourself.0

The latter portion of the person above me, about loving ones self and accepting ones self. Biggest thing you can do for yourself honestly! I am working on it now. I have found that my job, made me unhappy, some of my friends had to be changed to be around better influences, and I needed to know, that I am who I am.. I and I alone can change ME. My attitude, my personality, my physical appearance, are all things I have control over. It's all possible, and you just have to keep your mind on your goals and keep doing your best to make everything in your life you want to happen, happen. and FWIW, I think you're attractive from the lone picture you have posted here.
Good luck with your future.0 -
Not sure I ever felt like I was really ugly, just felt like I wasn't all that pretty. Although, my dad's brother has told me for as far back as I can remember that I'm the prettiest one (between me and my sisters), I just didn't know that I ever really thought so or believed him. (My sister was a model.) I even remember when my dad was sick a few weeks before he passed, he said, "John was right. You are the prettiest."
Growing up, people always told me I could sing pretty well and play piano pretty well, but there always seemed to be people who were better than me. I remember having this conversation with someone I've known since kindergarten. She laughed at me saying, "Well look who you were comparing yourself against....people who've had vocal lessons all their lives, etc. etc."
Somewhere in this weight loss journey, I went to wash my hands, and looked in the mirror. I thought to myself that I liked the way I was starting to look. Maybe my dad and my uncle are right. (?)
Like the others have said, it's about accepting yourself for who you are where you are. You don't have to compare yourself to anyone. You have beauty in you. Keep your eyes on the prize....the goals you want to achieve. You'll get there. There's a song that's in Princess Diaries...."What makes you different, makes you beautiful....what lies inside you shines through...." It's true.0
