Sounds good, bur how is that low calorie?
Um, hello, you're not supposed to eat the whole thing. Have a quarter of it, like the recipe says and it IS low calorie. 110 calories is extremely low.0 -

Why does it have to be low calorie? I don't see that in the topic or anywhere.0 -

I missed the part where the OP claimed it was low calorie.0 -
You stated you used jars. Like small canning jars?
I ask as I am curious how big the serving is.
As its a bit higher nutritionally I was wondering if making more than 4 servings would be reasonable.0 -
Hi, did this come from a website???.0

The calories posted are per serving, not for the whole thing.0 -
Sounds very unhealthful and high calorie.0

Sounds wonderful to me! I would probably make it with graham crackers for the crust, though, since there's already chocolate flavor in the filling.0

Well to me that was not clear.
Usually when nutrition info is given its per serving
If its only 110 then no need to make in 6 servings vs 4.0 -
Is this really any better for you than actual cheesecake though? Don't get me wrong, Nutella is awesome but I don't know about this. lol0

For those worried about macros, use this http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/461619-ny-cheesecake-morph add your nutella and work out macros.
I've done heaps of difference cheesecakes from this recipe. Peanut butter is my favourite.
Yes, PB > Nutella :devil:0 -
This sounds really good but the calorie information is way off. The amount of Oreo cookies and butter alone is more than 110 calories when divided by 4. That is before adding cream cheese, Nutella and cream. And what size package cream cheese? How much cream? This info is needed for an accurate calorie count.0

Haha, this is a measly cheesecake. I made a New York style cheesecake from my Junior's recipe book. It required 2 cups of sugar (forget the weight, although I did weigh it for logging purposes), and 900g (4x8oz) of full fat Philadelphia (cream cheese), amongst other stuff. Heaven on a plate! The whole thing (9inch) was 12,500+ calories.
I have a teeny section of it as a snack each night, froze the rest (after giving some to my in laws and some to my husband). Quality over quantity. There is no such thing as bad food, only how much of it you eat0 -
Sounds very unhealthful and high calorie.
What is unhealthy? Just because something is higher in calorie does not make it unhealthy. I make cheesecakes all the time and fit them just fine into my day. Lose the fear that just because something is higher in calorie it's unhealthy, as the only thing unhealthy about that is your mindset.0 -

?? The recipe calls for 2/3 cup of Nutella.
2/3 cup of Nutella is 465 calories.
I did miscalculate a cup vs 2/3 but the nutella is more than 465.
My jar says 2 tbsp. is 200 calories
2/3 cup = 10.7 tbsp.
that makes is 1080 calories.0 -
This. People love blaming the food for being unhealthy and not the bad habits tied to the food. As long as you make it fit your calories for the day i see nothing wrong with it. Just don't eat it daily.0
