Workout Motivation

Anyone else get really motivated by seeing really fit people at the gym? I have heard a lot of people say they DON'T like going to the gym because of all the fit people, it makes them feel insecure. Its the opposite for me, it drives me to become like them! Is it because I'm a guy? Do women feel the same? This is so random I know but I was just wondering :)

I get motivated by the people in the weight room.
Because the bikes overlook the weight area.
And I love laughing to myself and watching all the people down there do two reps, flex, then stare at themselves in the mirror as they slowly walk to the next station to just stand at it.

Hahah definitely. In a fitness class like BodyCombat there's gonna be a handful of participants really giving it all they got. The class is always more enjoyable when I'm behind or beside one such person.

I just kinda laugh and shake my head when I see that lol. Its the people really grinding out 10+ reps that give me the motivation!

Haha, it makes me forget I'm on the bikes for a bit!
And I agree! I'm gonna take advantage of that when I start lifting, and get those people to give me some tips. :)

People (at least at my gym) are so quick to help out and give tips. Its awesome! Some guys i've met will not take any advice and get offended lol right now I'll take as much advice as I can get :)
