can anybody advise which exercise DVD's burn the most calories? I have done 2 rounds of insanity but my knees cannot cope with this! I have also done the les mills body combat but am very bored of this now and finding it a bit too easy. I am considering turbofire, or T25 but it does not have to be a beachbody regime. It also doesnt have to be one of the strict 5 days per week regimes, as I also run and do the odd circuits. Weightloss is my ultimate goal. Any advice please?!

Turbo Fire is an intense cardio programme but I have also heard some people find it hard on the knees but personally I didn't. To be honest I like to mix it up a bit more than programmes like TF as I get so bored. Have you tried any of the Jillian Micheals dvds, I have the 30 Day Shred and Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism and love them so much that I have just ordered a triple pack of JM dvds with Ripped in 30, Killer Buns and Thighs (boy I need this!!) and Extreme Shed and Shred.0

If your knees are getting beat up, why don't you switch over to a more weight training/resistance training type video. Have you considered Chalean Extreme, P90X or my personal fav Body Beast? Keep in mind, it's not about the number of calories you burn, it's about finding a balance between calories in vs out.0

P90X3 is really good.... the cardio sessions are pretty harcore and very much like the insanity workouts (i did insanity last year), but they are only 2 x a week and the rest is more resistance/strength focused.0

Incorporating weight lifting into you regime will help with weight loss. I did P90X for 9 months and dropped 64 lbs. If your knees are giving you some trouble, you should let them rest for a bit and do something different. I know my knees were sore after doing 1 round of Insanity.

Cathe Friedrich is considered advanced. She makes cardio & weights DVD workouts. She's not a pyramid scheme (like Beachbody) and she has actual fitness credentials (unlike Jillian). Her DVDs are expensive but usually advanced home exercisers love them.
There is a whole industry of fitness DVDs. Most of them can be as challenging as you want to make them. Trying a variety of instructors can give you an idea of who you like.0
