3 months ago my HBA1C test (testing blood sugar level) was a 10.5 (very high and bad) - my doctor threatened me with insulin if I didn't get my act together - so I called today to see if the result of my new blood test were in (the goal for T2 Diabetics is to be at a level under 7) - my level came back as a 6.6. That is like 4 points in 3 months. Walking, losing 14 lbs and cutting out bread and pasta. Yay me

I really relate to this. A year ago I was about to be put on every medication on earth at 29. I had to measure my blood pressure 2x a day. That seemed so long ago. Feeling "normal" and feeling "healthy" is so rewarding and feels amazing.
Great accomplishment, continue on your journey, who knows where you will be a year from now.0 -
Thank you so much. MFP has been wonderful on this journey.0
