Hi

When I get bored, I want to shop or eat, and I always feel bad after I do both, if I eat to much then I feel sick.. and I shop when I really didn't need anything. The big word NEED not WANT I just want to feel happy fast. The big listen for me is to slow down and think about why I need to do something right now that has a negative effect on me, why can't I just enjoy what I have? Does anyone relate to this. I thinking about yoga.. I already exercise. I just needed to type thanks..

I'm very much in the same boat. I found that yoga wasn't the right answer for me (at least at that time). What I did was utilize alternative healing...acupuncture and Reiki (a healing art using energy), specifically. I found that they can clam my mind and help me feel more centered and happy with what I have. Reiki and acupuncture practitioners aren't too hard to find anymore, either! Good luck finding that inner peace! :)

I find that meditation is very helpful in training myself to wait out cravings and gain some peace. I like it because I can do it pretty much wherever and whenever I want, and the more I do it the better it works :) All the best to you!

I meditate every day, I also have reiki and other energy work done when I'm especially wound up. (I'm a reiki master myself)

Plus I enjoy quiet activities like sketching, listening to music, or I call up a friend I haven't talked to in a while and just chat on the phone.

Walks in the park are nice too.

    I hope that helps. :)
