Whole chicken

I put a whole chicken in my crock pot with about a cup of water and some savory spices and let it cook all day. When you go to take it out of the pot it is so tender and juicy it fall right off the bone. You can even put the chicken in the crock pot frozen and it will come out the same way.0

If I ever buy a whole chicken I put it in a cooking bag with carrots, potatoes and onions and bake it. You can add salt and pepper if you want but I usually let people add that themselves. Probably not really low carb with the potatoes but I guess you could leave them out and it's super easy. Then after you eat the meat or debone it you can boil the bones and use the broth to make chicken soup. Supposed to be really healthy with the nutrients that come from the bones (marrow?).0
