Does anybody use it ? i have heard a lot about it being good because of the omega 3 oils, and helping with digestion and such , but does it actually help with weight loss and helping clean out your system ?

Not really unless you're talking about fiber in general0 -

No impact on weight loss. In fact, it's quite calorific, so if you're using it, make sure you measure the quantity accurately.0

It has a lot of natural oils so you need to watch how much you eat like anything else. Weigh loss is about eating less calories than burn.
I will say, I take a flaxseed supplement in the morning and a fish oil one at night because they aid in my severe dry eye condition. Omega-3's are important obviously for a lot of things other than eye health.
Actual flax seed has a lot of fiber too.0 -
Plant based omega-3's (ALA) must first be converted (to DHA), and in the process, it is minimally absorbed, unfortunately. Fish based omega-3's (DHA, EPA) are more bio-available. I add flax for the fiber, but as others have said, it's caloric so measure it.0
