Running issues

Hello peeps,
Im 23, weighing 74 kgs 5'9 . I have been working out for almost a year now . I find that I cant run for more than 7-8 minutes on the treadmill not coz Im out of breath or tired but my shinbone aches. I walk for more than 1 hour at a stretch everyday briskly never experience such problems . Its only when I run my shin hurts because of which Im forced to stop. What can I do ? Im sure its not an injury I always had this issue .

Have you been properly fitted for running shoes? Whenever I've gotten shin splits, it's been because my shoes were either the wrong kind or worn out.0

I would get an Xray. I thought I was just getting shin splints also. I was achy and after I ran it would kill. Walking didnt hurt either. Xray showed 3 stress fractures. one small one in my left shin, a large one in my right shin and one in my femur. Had a walking boot for 2 months. All better now
