(backwards?) NSV

Background:
For well over a decade, I bought 3XLT work shirts with banded bottoms so that I could wear them untucked and still conform to "business casual" dress codes. Several months ago, I proactively bought a single XLT polo shirt (tucked-in type) even though I knew it wouldn't fit when I bought it.
Fast forward to today. I'm now a 5-day teleworker so I rarely need to wear these type of shirts. Well, I was called onsite today and guess which dumbass didn't have any appropriate shirts in closet (all wrinkled or dirty)? #ThisGuy Then I remembered the XLT polo shirt. I ripped it out of the plastic bag and went to try it on in front of the mirror. WTF?! It's kinda tight...
<pause for dramatic effect>
...
IN THE ARMS!! The shirt fits appropriately in the torso, but it's a little tight in the arms! After 5-10 mins of "gun show posing" in the mirror, I finished getting ready for work.
I've always had (at least in my mind) disproportionately small arms relative to the rest of me. It's funny how we sometimes focus in on that one gray cloud in an otherwise sunny sky. I always worn half-length sleeves because otherwise I felt like "Kermit The Frog"!
Today, I actually happier with the tightness of the sleeves than I am with the fact that I can actually wear an XLT shirt instead of 3XLT! I actually look forward to the shirt getting looser in the torso and tighter in the arms at the same time. Meanwhile, I just have to remember to pull my sleeves back down when I scratch my head!

love that NSV.
Similar feels happened when I realized that I couldn't wear a few button down ladies shirts because they were too big in the belly and hips, too small in the shoulders and bust.0 -
