i believe weight loss is more than calorie in calorie out. i dont think all calories are created equal. they are absorbed and metabolized differently into our bodies. high carb foods unless burned right away will cause weight gain due to that pesky little hormone known as insulin.0

what is wrong with butter? i actually believe eating foods that are minimally processed are better for you. most dairy (super market) is bad for you. fresh butter with the fat however is good for you. animal meats that have been pastured is good for you. your frozen lean cuisines are not.0

Fruits and veg have a lot of carbs
Umm...fruits maybe, but veggies...not so much.
I keep my carbs to <25g per day and eat lots of veggies
They keep me sane :laugh:0 -
Honestly as long as you eat a decent balance of macro nutrients it really IS a matter of calories in < Calories out. It's true that binging on one particular macro can throw the game a bit but as long as you maintain a nominal balance your bodies coping mechanisms are very good at dealing with slight/moderate imbalances.0
