Not sure if I should drop to 180 or 150.

So I'm a 5'11 male, 18 years old 218 pounds.
my original goal was 180, but after viewing some photos I'm thinking maybe I should go lower around the 150-165 zone.
any suggestions?

Honestly that depends a lot on your frame size and how much muscle you have. There are online frame size calculators you can use based on a tape measurer of your wrist. If you are large framed that might be a bit light if you are small framed that might be right. Really the ultimate decider is going to be your appearance right, you'll find out when you get to 180 if you want to keep going or not.
Using myself as an example I am small framed and 6' tall. If you click my name and look at my profile pictures the one of my torso where I look my thinest was when I weighed 155 pounds.0 -
Why not shoot for 180 then reassess once you reach that goal? Then see how you feel/look and go from there.0

my current plan, all bodies are different also, so I guess I shouldn't think I'll have the same results.0 -
Aim for 180, see how you feel around there. maybe you'll like it, maybe you'll want to drop more, maybe you'll want to start lifting and work towards muscle (in which case the number on the scale won't matter).
Have a goal for now. You can always have a next goal for what happens next.0
