just started working out need ideas

So I got the "From couch to 5k" app and have been using that for my cardio, its been great but I need to mix in some other things. The problem is I have no idea what to do, I got the C25K app because it tells me what to do. I am so new to this whole work out thing that I am at a loss on what I should be doing to lose the weight. I know we need cardio to get our heart going to burn the fat but at the same time I need something to help build up my muscle to help with the burning. So please any ideas is much appreciated. I work out on my lunch at I get 45 minutes to do that. I want to workout out at home but I am still trying to adjust my schedule with the kids and my schooling to fit in time to workout. So please help!

This is going to sound really silly, but i drink water all day, like literally. Which means i'm constantly hitting the bathroom up all day long at work, everytime i go to use the bathroom i do 10 squats in the hallway. I typically can end up doing 50 to 60 squats a day. Which of course you know will build up your legs and butt!:)0

I do this program with some cardio as well. You only need to do this one 3 times a week!0
