So I went to see my nutritionist and I explained that Im not losing any weight even tho I am doing the right things. I count my calories and eat about 1000 a day. She told me I was not eating enough. That the bigger a person is, the more they should eat in order to lose weight. It doesn't really make much sense to me, if this this is true, can someone please elaborate?

Your nutritionist is correct. Your body is holding on to its fat stores because it thinks you are starving it. You need to eat a reasonable amount under your tdee and provide yourself with the necessary nutrients to lose weight in a healthy way. It is logical to think the less you eat the more you will lose, but the human body is pretty amazing and adapts to survive extreme conditions such as being starved. listen to her suggestions and don't be afraid of food0

Didn't she give you a calorie goal with a breakdown of macros? That is what mine did. If she didn't call her and get one.0
