Homemade Ranch Dressing

Ran out of ranch dressing the other day and wondered if it was hard to make. It's not (thanks Google)!! I didn't measure very well but my ballpark figures are:

1 cup buttermilk, 2 TB sour cream, 1 clove crushed garlic, 2 TB green onion, 2TB parsley, salt and pepper to taste. Run it through the blender or small food processor (it turns a little green).

I just realized I could substitute thick yogurt for the sour cream to make it healthier. I think it's better today after sitting in the fridge overnight, the raw garlic isn't as harsh. My kids are going wild for it!

18 calories per tablespoon, 1 gram each of carbs, fat, and protein (made with sour cream), sodium depends on how much salt you add.
