My First NSV and MFP Post :)

Hello friends! I'm so excited to have found this community, and am looking for others to journey with so add me if you'd like!
My NSV for the day: I just completed my first Stronglifts 5x5 workout!
I'm beyond proud of myself, mostly because I chickened out last time I went because there were too many guys at the equipment. I did time it so I'd be by myself, but I feel like I just needed that one time to really be able to get comfortable, especially since I'm new to this gym. Now, I feel like I could do anything!
Unfortunately, this gym is a basic recreation center (I couldn't afford any of the other gyms right now), and I discovered today that they have no free barbell weights. I used a smith benching machine, used dumbells for my rows, and used a v-squat machine for my squats (I figured it would be better than using a smith machine...I hate those!). I will have access to barbells at the end of the summer when I get back to school. Do you guys think this is okay for now as long as I switch to the barbells when I can?
