I'm 5"8 & I weigh 231:( my goal is 135-140 pounds by October I want to be at my goal do you guys think this will happen do you guys have tips on dieting and exercise

    Are you saying you want to lose 100 pounds by October?
    It is better to set goals without a timeline attached to them.

    Almost a 100 pounds by October of this year? That's a lofty goal. And I'm not entirely convinced it would be healthy to do so. Figure 1-2 pounds a week for healthy weight loss. You may be able to lose more than that right off the bat, but I agree with the other comment that suggests you would be best served by not setting a timeline to it.
